By adding awesome talent to our team, serious dedication and persistence, and keeping the guest in mind, we’ve grown to 48 Canadian Brewhouses, 1 Canadian Icehouse, 4 Banquet Bars, 40 Plantlife Cannabis dispensaries, 7 Ribeye Butcher Shops, and The Italian Bakery's Tesoro!  

As our Social Media Coordinator, you'll be responsible for managing and executing our company's social media strategy across various platforms. You'll create engaging content, monitor our channels, and analyze performance to boost brand awareness, drive engagement, and support our marketing goals. You'll work closely with the Marketing Manager, Content, ensuring consistent messaging and brand alignment across all digital channels.

What You'll Do:

  • Content Management & Publishing: Develop and curate platform-specific content including text, images, videos, and graphics that align with our brand voice. Ideate and develop a diverse content pipeline, ensuring all content adheres to brand guidelines. Strategically schedule and publish posts, optimizing for maximum reach and engagement. Plan and execute monthly content calendars and participate in weekly brainstorming sessions.
  • Community Engagement & Brand Reputation: Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and mentions, fostering positive interactions. Proactively engage with user-generated content and initiate conversations with followers.
  • Social Media Strategy & Campaign Management: Assist in planning and executing social media campaigns and promotions, integrating them with broader marketing initiatives. Contribute to weekly marketing planning meetings by providing insights and translating marketing initiatives into social media campaign plans.
  • Performance Analysis & Optimization: Track and analyze social media metrics like engagement rates, reach, and follower growth. Review key metrics daily and conduct weekly deep dives into platform analytics to identify trends and areas for improvement. Generate weekly snapshot reports and comprehensive monthly performance reports with actionable recommendations.
  • Industry Awareness & Development: Stay updated on innovative social media trends, tools, and best practices. Dedicate time to researching new platform features, algorithm changes, and competitor activities.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration & Stakeholder Management: Build relationships with local influencers, food bloggers, and community organizations for collaborations. Coordinate content creation with external photographers or videographers.

What You Bring:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in social media management or digital marketing.
  • Proficiency with social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok) and management tools (e.g., Sprout Social).
  • Basic graphic design skills and familiarity with tools like Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar.
  • Ability to develop reel content and video editing skills.
  • Ability to generate creative content ideas that engage and resonate with the target audience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and tone.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Ability to analyze data and metrics to inform content strategy and improve performance.
  • Willingness to stay current with industry trends and adapt to changes in social media platforms and algorithms.
