At The Canadian Brewhouse, we live by 6 Core Values that keep the team strong and customers coming back.
The Brew Crew is our number one priority
Ask yourself regularly how you would like to be treated as a customer and what you would like to get out of a similar experience.
Fundraising and community involvement is a fundamental part of who we are.
Always act with a sense of urgency, without sacrificing quality in the final product.
Change is necessary for professional and personal growth.
The Canadian Brewhouse is a proud leader of innovation in the restaurant industry.
Do not stop until you get the desired result. Be resolute in working towards all of your goals.
The Canadian Brewhouse is very proud of its passion for people. We have the best team in the service industry, and it’s not by circumstance. We work tirelessly to build and maintain relationships with everyone on our team. This mentality is something that is simple to understand, but difficult to execute. Only through years of running a people-first business have we managed to create an environment where the team feels like family, not like employees. Our team is one of many key differences that separate us from the competition, and any prospective franchisee or Brew Crew leader must embrace that same mentality.
Operations Department is same-team focused. As such, there is much more support in place for franchisees than a typical franchisor/franchisee partnership. Our relationship begins before the doors of your building even open; we assist in the hiring process, job fairs, and training! Each operator will be well trained and is provided proper tools well before the restaurant is open.
Each franchise location is assigned a corporate Regional Manager. The Regional Manager’s role is to assist in operations through coaching the management team and working on the floor, often spending days at a time at the store. The Regional Manager will also have frequent calls and meetings with the locations management team to ensure a profitable and successful operation.
On top of that, all training materials are developed by a corporate trainer, who also takes time to come to the location and assist with the execution of new training materials. Consistency in our industry is paramount to success, and as such, our franchise partners can expect to be included in all operational communications that are sent to corporate locations.
We will work tirelessly to keep you ahead of our competitors, and are committed to your location, as ultimately your success is ours as well.
Our marketing team is dedicated ensuring that all locations have the tools they need for success. We maintain a strong brand presence in our markets through recognizable radio campaigns, featuring Seinfeld’s John O’Hurley, and various local channels including sponsorship programs. We are very active on social media and work with individual managers to ensure that the full breadth of our locations are showcased across various online channels. Rewards at The Canadian Brewhouse, our loyalty app, is one more tool to build loyalty among your core customer group.
A big differentiator between us and competitors are the events we throw throughout the year, such as 40oz Steak Night or Lobsterfest. Marketing sets every location up with the various assets required to make sure you’re house is sold out for the night, including providing tickets, designing POS, and running various advertising campaigns. We’ll also work with you to plan individual events that cater to your specific locale.
Our Construction Department will turn over a newly built Canadian Brewhouse that not only meets our high standards, but, will meet all your restaurant needs as well.

Stand Alone and End Cap buidlings,
Building at Grocery Anchored Centres
Minimum market threshold: 15,000+ population
The Canadian Brewhouse opened their first location in West Edmonton in 2002. In 2011, the first franchise location opened in Sherwood Park. With some great partners in place, the team creates effective systems for success, and since then franchised Canadian Brewhouse’s have been sprouting across western Canada.
Our plan is to continue growing in western markets while expanding east across the country. There are still so many areas to consider. Ideal spaces are 6,000 to 7,800 square foot endcaps or freestanding units with patio’s, in power or grocery-anchored centres.
