We are pleased to announce that over the past two weekends we have been able to raise over $51,000 for Humboldt families!
We were heartbroken to hear about the Bronco's tragedy and teamed up with some excellent partners to make sure that we could do what we could for the community during this awful time. There were some regulations we had to follow in different provinces, so fundraising efforts varied by location but we're very happy to say that all money raised is going to support those impacted.
The Nazem Kadri Foundation's goal is to make a positive change by working in partnership with local Canadian organizations to raise awareness and funding to support causes. A member of the Nazem Kadri Foundation happens to be a physician in Saskatchewan and has been treating and interacting with the victims and their families since the accident and is ensuring that funds raised are going where they're most needed.
STARS Air Ambulance is dedicated to providing a safe, rapid, highly specialized emergency medical transport system for the critically ill and injured. These brave first responders were on the scene of the accident, and we are grateful they were.
